Composer William Owens @ Vela

On Friday, January 22nd, composer William Owens stopped by the Vela Band Hall while on a trip down to the valley. Mr. Owens was the Vela Band's 1st ever head director back when the name of the school was Paredes Line Ninth Grade campus. This year, both Concert Band A and B will be performing pieces composed by Mr. Owens at our annual contests.
